Title: Production Assistant

Pay Level:  $10/hr + monthly gratis
Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the owner
Working Hours: Contract part time position, up to 10-15 hours per week as needed. 
Responsibilities: 

 Production of various Flora Products (Soaps, Candles, Scrubs)
Packaging and labeling of Flora Products
Adhering to sanitary manufacturing practices to ensure consistent and uncontaminated product.
Maintenance of a clean and sanitary production environment.
Inspect and approve incoming shipments and raw materials.
Organize and inventory raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
Receive orders from Flora Apothecary Website.
 Fulfill, package and mail Flora Product orders.
Set up and work product sales booths at markets and shows. (1 to 2x/month)

 

Flora Apothecary is looking for a hard working self-starter with a passion for natural ingredients to assist in the production of our small batch, handmade bath and body care products.  Impeccable attention to detail combined with the ability learn quickly and follow instruction is a must.  We are seeking an individual who is very flexible and willing to wear many hats to support our growing business. This role demands the ability to work while standing for multiple hours, to lift 30- 40 pound boxes and to work comfortably around strong scents.  Previous experience making handmade products and/or culinary skills is a plus.

Title:  Design Internship
Pay Level: College Credits
Reporting Relationship:  This position reports directly to the owner
Working Hours: 10 hours a week
Responsibilities:  This position is responsible for

- Work closely with social media intern to create marketing campaigns
- Design graphics for website, blog, and social sites consistent with brand
- Work with owner to assist in creative dynamic content
- Help build collateral and marketing materials
- Set up and work booths at markets and shows (approx 2x/month)
 

Flora Apothecary is looking for a highly creative, proactive, and organized design intern to join our team. Must have their own MacBook with Creative Suite Installed and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). We are looking for someone with the ability to manage project timelines and multiple priorities with superb attention to detail.

 

 

Title:  Social Media and Marketing Internship
Pay Level: College Credits
Reporting Relationship:  This position reports directly to the owner
Working Hours: 10 hours a week
Responsibilities:  This position is responsible for

- Increase Flora Apothecary brand awareness
- Drive internet traffic to the Flora Apothecary website
- Create and maintain an editorial calendar for posts
- Generate daily Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest posts
- Create weekly blog posts (minimum 2x week) and monitor sites for responses
- Send out approved monthly newsletters
- Develop blogs, SEO, social networking, and backlink building to raise our web presence and placement on web searches
- Leverage social networks to develop new customers/fans which results in new sales and inquiries on Flora Apothecary website
- Set up and work product sales booths at markets and shows (1 to 2x/month)

Flora Apothecary is looking for a self-proclaimed social media guru; a creative self-starter who will show initiative to drive results and work collaboratively to foster new ideas. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a fearless attitude towards technology with an eagerness to tackle new media. We need a creative who can bring solid ideas to expand our brand through any public media forum available.  Impeccable attention to detail combined with strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.  Experience with Microsoft applications, basic photo-editing software and internet browsers is required. Experience with graphic design, Photoshop and InDesign is plus.  We need a person who can develop and deliver new ideas on mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp, LinkedIn, and Google+. Experience in photography a plus.
